As a Lead Tech Artist, you will play a meaningful role in our ambitious projects. What You'll Do:-

  • Develop and update artwork and animation for digital gaming projects.

  • Focus on content implementation pipeline to ensure smooth and efficient processes.

  • Ensure asset management, file organization, and output configuration are accomplished accurately.

  • Schedule and manage time efficiently, collaborating with agile development leaders.

  • Deliver assets on time and to specification with outstanding attention to detail.

  • Conduct peer reviews to check work for accuracy and quality.

  • Handle various other duties including game documentation as per business needs.

  • Collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve the highest quality games possible.

  • Follow guidelines set by management to manage and develop art assets supporting the business.

  • Contribute ideas and innovations aimed at improving overall testing processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Work collaboratively with distributed team/studio leads for status updates and mentorship.

  • Participate in after-business hours calls as needed.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree/BFA/MFA or equivalent, with 3+ years of experience in digital gaming as a technical artist.

  • Strong experience with Adobe products, specifically After Effects and Photoshop.

  • Proficiency in 2D graphics and a solid understanding of animation principles.

  • Good knowledge of scripting languages for automating artist tools, such as After Effects plug-ins.

  • Experience with asset control systems like Perforce and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.

  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies is desirable.

  • Prior experience in the digital or social gaming industry is advantageous.

  • An outstanding ability to notice fine details and follow technical/compliance specifications closely.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with global collaborators.

  • Ability to recommend and apply upgrades in testing processes, tools, and test cases.
