What You'll Do

  • Develop and build mathematical models for slot games and other gaming products.
  • Construct, enhance, and record mathematical models for slot and instant-win games.
  • Build pay tables, probability models, and simulations to define return to player, volatility, and hit frequency.
  • Analyze game performance and player behavior to refine game mechanics.
  • Continuously optimize game performance using data-driven insights.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, engineers, and artists to implement mathematical concepts.
  • Ensure smooth and accurate integration of mathematical models into game engines.
  • Conduct detailed testing and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Support QA teams in validating game outcomes against encouraged mathematical results.
  • Communicate complex mathematical concepts clearly to non-technical team members.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute to new game ideas.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and improve existing approaches.
  • Document all mathematical models and processes clearly for future reference.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in game mathematics or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of probability theory, statistics, and combinatorics.
  • Experience with simulation tools such as Python, C++, Excel, or similar.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Good communication skills to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work within timelines.
  • Understanding of gaming regulations and compliance standards.

Preferred:

  • Experience working on Class II games is an added advantage.
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful game projects.
