Network Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to build, operate, and continuously improve our production network systems spanning on-prem and cloud environments. The role focuses on delivering highly available, secure, and scalable network solutions while resolving sophisticated technical challenges and driving operational excellence.

This position requires deep technical ownership, independent problem solving, and close collaboration with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams.

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across Layer 2 and Layer 3 environments

• Drive stability, performance, segmentation, and resiliency of production networks

• Lead investigation and resolution of sophisticated network incidents and performance issues

• Develop and improve routing, excess, and connectivity strategies

• Own VLAN architecture, VLAN tagging, routing between VLANs, and link aggregation configurations

• Implement and optimize static and dynamic routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)

• Partner with security teams on firewall policies, segmentation, and secure network build

• Support hybrid and cloud networking in Azure environments

• Proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities

• Act as a technical point of reference for networking topics

• Participate in on-call rotations as the need arises

What We're Looking for:

• Several years of experience as a Network Engineer in enterprise environments

• Solid grasp of TCP/IP and OSI model

• Switching & Routing (L2/L3)

• VLANs, Trunking, Inter-VLAN routing

• LACP / EtherChannel

• OSPF, BGP

• Cisco or equivalent enterprise platforms

• NAT, Firewall policies, DNS, DHCP

• Advanced tools to fix issues

• FortiGate firewall configuration and optimization

• NAT management

• IPsec VPN

• Log analysis and problem solving

• High availability firewall architectures

• Load balancers (HAProxy)

• VMware / ESXi networking

• Azure cloud networking

• Linux networking fundamentals

• CCNA / CCNP

• Fortinet FCA / FCP
