The Buyer/Planner is responsible for the Procure to Pay functions of assigned commodities to support Configure-to-Order production demand while maintaining efficient reporting and data integrity. This person will be analytical and quantitative in nature and can understand and enhance supply chain processes. The role is responsible for ensuring continuous supply to support the production line by analyzing MRP recommendations and/or executing the Supply Plan and Material Planning purchase recommendations. This position gathers data to support the procurement of assigned parts, which includes working with the Sourcing, Materials Planning, Supply Planning, Engineering Teams and start or renew RFQ on assigned parts.
