Location: Fully remote. This opportunity is open to you if you can legally work remotely from one of our home countries in Sweden, Malta, Hungary, Spain, Poland, or the Philippines.

What the role entails:


Some of the key responsibilities of our Head of Commercial Finance will be: 


  • Manage and lead a team, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering professional development while creating a positive and collaborative team culture focused on achieving financial objectives
  • Lead in-depth financial analysis to ensure sound and strategic decision-making with regard to all commercial activities
  • Actively advise group management and local management with regards to financial risks, opportunities, and return-on-investments
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company's financial strategy
  • Lead the development and execution of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the financial health and operational efficiency of the company
  • Conduct business performance reviews with regions and business areas
  • Develop and prepare financial reports to Senior Management and Board of Directors
  • Implement and oversee cost control measures to optimize expenses, ensuring operational efficiency and driving overall cost initiatives and awareness in the organization
  • Collaborate with department heads to analyse and manage departmental budgets.
  • Contribute to the consolidated monthly financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain structures, processes, and internal controls to ensure effective performance management, reporting accuracy, and overall organizational compliance
  • Utilize AI and other technologies to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices in financial processes
  • Responsible for the finance tools
  • Involved in potential M&A-activities, lead on relevant DD-streams
  • Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions affecting financial performance. 

 

What we ask of you:


  • Master's degree in a relevant field or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA)
  • You have a few years of experience in Investment Banking, Transaction Services, Management Consulting or Auditing (preferably Big 4), combined with experience from the Business Control field or Financial analysis
  • Work experience in a similar role for a multinational company and have seen "best practice" before
  • You have a strong interest in systems and system optimizations
  • Proven experience in driving change, finding optimal solutions and achieving the best results
  • Eager to work in a global fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
  • Expert in financial analysis with a hands-on approach to work
  • Very comfortable working and structuring big data sets in Excel
  • Comfortable in planning tools as well as budget and forecasting process
