The Gaming Finance Team’s remit covers BallyBet and Casino Ontario and Monopoly Casino Ontario.

Payments and Fraud Team Lead at Bally's Interactive is responsible for ensuring and supporting day to day standards of operating an online gaming business including, team management, detection and mitigation of fraud and risk, processing of payments, representment of chargebacks, verification of documents and troubleshooting issues that may arise. The ideal Senior Gaming Finance Analyst candidate has a passion for fraud detection and prevention, brings a high attention to detail, is customer focused and enjoys working in a fast paced and growing organization.

So, what will you be doing?

  • Overseeing the completion of and partaking in, where needed, the day-to-day processes within the Gaming Finance Team for our Ontario iGaming and Sportsbook ventures.
  • Monitoring and actioning all ingoing and outgoing account activity.
  • Ensuring group, Fraud, Risk, AML, EDD, Responsible Gaming strategy and KYC are all performed in line with regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Keeping close communication with VIP team to ensure that all fraud, KYC, EDD, Risk & AML requirements are satisfied for high value player relationships.
  • Overseeing and managing the Gaming Finance Team.
  • Monitoring third-party payment systems to identify potential technical issues. 
  • Training new employees in all areas of Gaming Finance.
  • Creating and updating SOPs inline with Bally’s policies and risk appetite.
  • Optimizing and automating (where applicable) Gaming Finance procedures.
  • Acting as a liaison between members and internal Management & Technical Teams & third-party supplier contacts.
  • Assisting player onboarding during the KYC process. 
  • Ensuring completion of all regulatorily required reporting including STRs, CTRs, etc.
  • Supporting Internal and External Audit requests.
  • Assisting with any other ad-hoc requests as made my management.

  • Demonstrate experience in online gambling or the banking industry
  • Have experience with Geocomply, Ideology and SharePoint
  • Show intermediate Excel/Office skills
  • Have knowledge of risk management, internet industry and online payment mechanisms
  • Show interpersonal skills and relationship building (internal and external)
  • Possess exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrate verbal and written communication skills
  • Have collaborative attitude and strong work ethic
  • Be flexible, organized, prioritization and time management skills
