GCP & SQL Server Report Developer

Your influential mission. You will... 

• Develop and optimize SQL queries for Big Query to extract and analyse data. 
• Ensure cloud-based reporting solutions are scalable, secure, and cost-efficient. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server stored procedures, views, and functions 
• Troubleshoot performance issues related to SQL queries and report execution. 
• Work closely with business teams to gather reporting requirements. 
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards. 
• Document report definitions, data models, and technical specifications. 
• Optimize query performance and database/reporting efficiency. 
• Follow and create protocols and procedures as necessary to ensure consistency and accuracy in the report development process. 
• Conduct advanced troubleshooting and resolve report issues through.

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

• Have experience developing SQL Server 2012 databases and above (MSSQL 2016 preferably). 
• Are proficient with T-SQL DDL and DML. 
• Possess strong knowledge of ETL processes, data modeling, and performance tuning. 
• Have the ability to understand and integrate new technologies. 
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
• Are skilled in both verbal and written communication and cross-group collaboration. 
• Thrive in a team environment. 
• Are adaptable and flexible.

You'll get extra points for... 

• Familiarity with reporting and BI tools (such as Looker, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau, etc.). 
• Experience with Oracle databases. 
• Proficiency in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
