Who we are

Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It currently owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. It also owns Bally's Interactive International, formerly Gamesys Group, a leading, global, online gaming operator, Bally Bet, a first-in-class sports betting platform, and Bally Casino, a growing iCasino platform. 

With 10,600 employees, the Company's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games and 3,800 hotel rooms. Upon completing the construction of a permanent casino facility in Chicago, IL, and a land-based casino near the Nittany Mall in State College, PA, Bally's will own and/or manage 16 casinos across 11 states. Bally’s also has rights to developable land in Las Vegas post the closure of the Tropicana.

Join us as a Platform Architect, where you'll design and implement an innovative infrastructure that seamlessly blends existing and new technologies through on-premises and cloud solutions. Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams to enhance our platform's capabilities continuously. You'll empower team members to fully leverage the platform's features with the support and resources they need. Your role will be pivotal in cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, grounded in modern operational practices.

So, what will you be doing?

• Innovative Architecture: Design and implement a cutting-edge infrastructure that integrates existing and new technologies, focusing on Kubernetes and Developer Experience (DevEx) tools.
• System Modernization: Lead the migration and innovation of legacy systems, driving enhancements in performance and usability while leveraging automation and deployment tools.
• Collaboration and Leadership: Foster a collaborative environment by mentoring team members and building strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
• Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of innovation by streamlining processes and embracing modern operational practices to maintain our technological edge.
• Effective Communication: Clearly convey complex concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring team members are equipped with the knowledge and resources to utilize the platform effectively.

And what are we looking for?

• Extensive experience with Linux Operating Systems and automation platforms, with emphasis around RHEL (7/8/9) based operating systems.
• Expertise in scripting languages and their orchestration solutions, including Ansible, AWX or Ansible Tower, Terraform, Terraform Enterprise, Puppet, and Puppet Server.
• Advanced experience in managing and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, with familiarity in tools such as Rancher, EKS, and Vanilla clusters.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to align architectural decisions with the company's long-term business strategies and goals.
