Java Developer

• Help deliver innovative new software gaming components
• Working through all stages of the software delivery lifecycle from requirements refinement, development, testing, release & maintenance
• Work with the team in an agile continuous delivery model
• Reviewing code for game engines developed by other teams, and making sure it reaches the high standards required before sending for compliance regulation testing

Qualifications

Components for success. You...

• Possess strong Java experience (Java 17+)
• Are familiar with JUnit and automated testing
• Have knowledge of Git version control
• Bring experience in Functional Programming concepts and design patterns
• Have experience in software delivery within an enterprise environment
• Are able to write efficient, clear code that is easy to maintain and test
• Have a great attention to detail

You'll get extra points for...

• Previous experience in the Gaming industry
• Knowleade in Agile, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development
• Possessing mathematics skills (probability & statistics)
• Experience in the following technologies:
• Spring (Security, Boot, MVC, Data, … ), Maven, Web services/REST services, JAXB, Junit, Jenkins
• Hibernate, SQL
• IntelliJ IDEA
• Docker, Kubernetes
• AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, …)
• Vavr.io, Lombok libraries
• Experience with DevOps, Terraform, GitOps, Site Reliability Engineering
