Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Implement, administer, and maintain network security controls in both on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
  • Identify and resolve weak or missing security controls and vulnerabilities on the network domain, collaborating with the appropriate risk owners.
  • Lead the migration of existing and new sites, ensuring integration into Playtech network security standards.
  • Design and evaluate new security and network solutions, and assess new technologies to enhance security and network performance.
  • Collaborate with Business, R&D, and IT teams, serving as a subject matter expert on network security topics.
  • Assist Security Operations with responding to and investigating potential security incidents at the network level.
  • Support audits by addressing questions, collecting evidence, and documenting network security standards and policies.

Qualifications

Components for success. You... 

  • Have 3+ years of IT security experience in a medium/large global enterprise.
  • Have a strong technical background in network and infrastructure security.
  • Have an understanding of routing and switching protocols and products (network management certifications like CCNA/CCNP/etc. are appreciated).
  • Have knowledge of and experience with NGFW, Web content filtering, IDS/IPS (firewall management/engineering certifications like CCSA/CCSE/etc. are appreciated).
  • Have strong self-education skills, striving to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies and staying up to date with the most recent security capabilities.
  • Have strong soft skills - the ability to communicate effectively with infrastructure teams (o/s, networking, storage, DB, etc.) and help them understand the importance of the security aspect; you can speak with them at the same level of knowledge in their fields.

  • Experience working with Network Access Control (NAC), DDoS mitigation and Remote Access VPN solutions
  • Experience with firewall governance and central management tools (Tufin, AlgoSec, etc.)
  • Experience with Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or microservices
  • Passion for automation and experience with building and/or maintaining automation tools
  • Being able to plan, design, and roll out security solutions with a high level of independence
  • Security management certifications (CISSP/CISM/etc.)
