 What the role entails

• Team member role that requires general supervision,

• coaches and mentors other testers on daily basis,

• involved in creating, defining, and improving test automation processes,

• conducts the automated test execution process,

• develops, maintains and executes automation test-cases and track results,

• keeps automated test cases up to date and maintain them, review pull requests,

• discover and develop necessary testing tools to ensure highest quality,

• participate in maintaining and testing the automated framework including continued development / maintenance (C#, Glados),

• professional support of QA Engineers with automation expertise and mindset,

• collaborates with other team members or members on the other side when needed,

• create test automation documentation, when required,

• advocate for best test automation practices,

• keeps up-to-date on the latest advances in the test automation community,

• creates and maintains continuous integration pipelines for the automation tests,

• creates processes with automation first mindset (Documentation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code), and

• automates manual or menial tasks with code.

What we ask of you

• Technical Skills – Require programming skills to write computer code and scripts in common computer languages, such as Javascript, Python, C++.
• Suggest /Make framework enhancements to accommodate the scripting needs.
• Analytical skills – Analytically examine bug reports, prioritize necessary tests, and streamline application functions through automated testing processes.
• Attention to detail – Being detail oriented is required as you will test web and mobile applications to find ways to improve them and isolate problems.
• Communication skills – Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the engineering team and create testing plans and written reports showing errors.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows.
• Proficiency with TeamCity workflows.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.

Preferences:

• Bachelor of science degree (or equivalent) in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
• Experience in software/game development and working within an agile environment.
